Manusia sangat berminat terhadap jalannya waktu. Dengan setiap detikan arloji ia maju selangkah lebih jauh dalam lorong waktu. Ia berlaku bijaksana jika ia menggunakan waktu dengan benar. Sebagaimana Salomo menulis : "Untuk segala sesuatu ada masanya, untuk apapun di bawah langit ada waktunya. Ada waktu untuk lahir, ada waktu untuk meninggal, ada waktu untuk menanam, ada waktu untuk mencabut yang ditanam; ada waktu untuk membunuh, ada waktu untuk menyembuhkan; ada waktu untuk merombak, ada waktu untuk membangun; ada waktu untuk menangis, ada waktu untuk tertawa; ada waktu untuk meratap, ada waktu untuk menari." (Pkh. 3:1-4)
Betapa cepat waktu berlalu ! Ke 70 tahun dari masa hidup yang normal sangat singat singkat bagi seseorang untuk menerima pengetahuan yang berlimpah dan menikmati segala perkara baik yang telah disediakan Allah bagi manusia di atas bumi. "Ia membuat segala sesuatu indah pada waktunya, bahkan ia memberikan kekekalan dalam hati mereka. Tetapi manusia tidak dapat menyelami pekerjaan yang dilakukan Allah dari awal sampai akhir." (Pkh. 3:11; Mzm. 90:10)
Allah sendiri hidup di dalam kekekalan waktu. Perihal makhluk-makhluk ciptaan-Nya, Ia telah berkenan untuk menaruh mereka dalam arus waktu. Malaikat-malaikat di surga, bahkan setan yang memberontak sangat menyadari berjalannya waktu. (Dan. 10:13; Why. 12:12) Mengenai manusia telah tertulis, "karena waktu dan nasib ["hal-hal yang tak terduga,"] dialami mereka semua." (Pkh. 9:11)Berbahagialah orang yang senantiasa mengingat Allah di dalam pikirannya dan menyambut persediaan Allah berupa "makanan yang tepat pada waktunya" ! (Mat. 24:45)

Humans are very interested in the course of time. By every tick watch he advanced a step further in the hallway of the time. He holds sensible if he used the time correctly. As Solomon wrote: "for everything there is time, for any purpose under the heavens there is time. There is a time to be born, there was a time to die, there is a time to plant, there is a time to uproot planted; There is a time to kill, there's a time to heal; There was time to overhaul, there is a time to build; There is a time to cry, there is a time to laugh; There is a time to lament, there is a time to dance. " (Eccl. 3: 1-4)
How quickly time passed! To 70 years from the time of normal life is very short singat for a person to receive abundant knowledge and enjoy all things good that God has provided for humans on Earth. "He made everything beautiful in its time, even he gave eternity in their hearts. But humans are not able to take the job done God from beginning to end. " (Eccl. 3: 11; PS. 90: 10)
God himself living in eternity. About the creatures of his creation, He has been willing to put them in the flow of time. The angels in heaven, even the devil who rebelled was well aware of the passage of time. (Dan. 10: 13; Rev. 12: 12) concerning the man has written, "because of time and fate [" things that are unexpected, "] experienced them all." (Eccl. 9: 11 am)Blessed is the man who always remember God in his mind and welcome supplies of God in the form of "food that just in time"! (Mat. 24: 45)
